The artwork, design and courtyard was neat.
The headboard fell off before getting into bed. It was raining when I stayed there and there are no covered walkways and there were lots of puddle in the parking lot to the room.
This Hotel is exceptional value for money. The hotel is going through extensive renovation but this does not impact on the comfort during your stay. The breakfast was god, the room was large and comfortable and the swimming pool was warm and the area very clean. Free parking and wi fi made this a must to stay at.
Cool retro south-Florida vibe...
replace some towels as needed (worn)
I was very pleased with the staff - they were all very friendly.
They are in the midst of doing some renovations so a bit noisy at times. Nothing major.
Great value. Little extras like great pillows comfortable beds and name brand toiletries. Extra clean rooms and a great staff made our visit a pleasure.
casual, friendly, budget friendly
I like that it was small and on a quiet street. The rooms felt like your personal bedroom instead of the usual hotel room. I could tell that a lot of thought was put into the docor and bedding. I also love the choice of colors on the walls instead bland white or biege at most hotels.
I didn't like the window unit airconditoner. It was too loud and made it hard to hear the television.
The pool was great, the stall, especially Priscilla was awesome, the breakfast was very nice and the bed was comfy !
No restaurant or bar services and you must drive to get to any fun places.
Clean rooms, pretty location, easy access via taxi to City Place.
No coffee facilities / fridge in room. No ice machines anywhere No vending machines for cold drinks anywhere, so unless you took a drink in from outside there was nowhere to purchase one in the hotel. No local information sheets in rooms or lobby about area / buses / attractions / restaurants.
Has a colorful, post-modern look and feel to the place. The dining room for the continental breakfast is functional but very odd and has to be seen to be believed. All in all, a nice and inexpensive place to spend a few nights.
The location was conveniently located, staff was very accommodating and the room was quaint and very art deco! One major thing for me was that the room did NOT have carpet and that's the BEST thing about this place.
The only one comment I have is that the garden view is just that located in the garden. Do not be surprised to find a small lizard crawling around...but nothing major.
Everything was excellent. Gorgeous new layout!
The location isn't the greatest, but it is very convenient to downtown!
I picked it for cost & proximity to where I needed to be. Once there I liked the set up: there are a couple different buidlings, plenty of bushes, trees & plants that not only gave a feeling of privacy & quaintness, but also made one feel removed from the hustle & bustle of city life. & this hotel is one business down from a main intersection. The grounds & pool area are quaint, comfy, feels homey. It would be nice if the pool was softly lit in the evening, so one could swim or sit out. (It was dark)
Biba Bar closes. It has a nice little indoor sitting area with a bathroom. Outside are tables. When sitting out in the evening, one has to go back to the room for the bathroom. 2 tables are under a little roof, the rest are outside, which is fine during nice weather, but during rain, it would be nice to have an area to sit other than the room. during the day soft music plays. For my stay I was gone durign business hours. It would have been nice to have that in the evening.
It was convenient to PBI.
The room and facility was run down and the tub was full of dead bugs ,. By morning there were live bugs so I checked out after one night. I arrived late due to flight delay so I didn't notice the condition until the next day. Very disappointing. You have alot work to do.
It was a quiet family oriented boutique where one could relax without all the commercialism of chain hotels.
